I met Jen and Peter at Denver International at around 6pm yesterday and we hired a car to drive here to Vail. We're staying in a seriously cool pad just down the interstate from the resort. I've actually just come out of the jacuzzi! We made a slow start to the day today but ended up with an amazing afternoon's skiing. It came back to me pretty quickly after a 2 year break which was a nice surprise. Tomorrow we plan to head out early to make it to the back bowls before the weekend crowds descend. It should be an awesome start to a week of skiing. I can't even begin to express how grateful I am to Jen and Peter for this wonderful opportunity.

Its well below freezing here which makes a massive change from the past weeks. While drinking wine in the jacuzzi just now I found it took only seconds out of the water for my hair to freeze solid!
Damn, I've had to ditch my beach bum image for a while... It looks like I'm smiling but thats probably just my teeth shivering! Just kidding, I love this stuff...
